BUK releases 2022/2023 Post-UTME Admission Form; According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), any shortlisted applicant without “O” Level scores would not be cleared. Therefore, it is advisable that all candidates deposit their “O” Level results (WAEC, NECO, etc.) on the Central Admission Processing System by going to the nearest JAMB Office or Accredited CBT Center (CAPS). The PDF attachment contains the cut-off markings.

Be aware that providing fake information will disqualify you. A maximum of two separate “O” Level exam scores may be submitted.
B. SCREENING:
An aptitude test should be used to assess applicants who submitted for admission to Bayero University, Kano in 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination administered by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (UTME).
UTME Candidates must have chosen Bayero University as their First Choice and scored not less than the indicated minimum score for various Faculties/Programmes as stated below:
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Step 1: Login – At the homepage of the Bayero University website www.buk.edu.ng click on 2022 UTME ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE
Step 2: Profile Update – UTME candidates can log in using their UTME Registration Number as username and UTME aggregate score as a password to log in. You should then fill in the provided form noting that the photograph uploaded from JAMB will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay at Bayero University, Kano.
Step 3: Generation of BUK PPI – Generate and download your Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI).
The invoice will include a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and state that the screening fee is N2,000.00. Applicants can choose to pay online with a Credit/Debit Card, through Internet Banking, or by printing the invoice and paying at any Commercial Bank in the country with it. Be aware that an acknowledgment slip can be promptly generated and printed after a successful online payment. Before the acknowledgment card can be printed in the event of a bank payment, the candidate must process the payment via the “check your payment” button on the website.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
On Monday, November 14, 2022, the online registration will open and end on Saturday, December 30, 2022. However, acknowledgment slip production will continue through Sunday, January 8, 2023, at midnight.
Note that the Date, Venue, and Time of the BUK Aptitude Test will be communicated to you using the phone number and/or e-mail address (us`1ed in JAMB registration) you supplied in the form you filled in.
Also, note that blind and foreign candidates are exempted from the aptitude test. However, they need to do the online registration.
