BUK releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME Admission Form; The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made it clear that candidates shortlisted for admission must possess their ‘O’ Level results.

To meet this requirement, all candidates are strongly advised to visit the nearest JAMB Office or Accredited CBT Centre to upload their ‘O’ Level results (e.g., WAEC, NECO, etc.) on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

It’s crucial to note that providing false information will lead to disqualification. Candidates are permitted to submit a maximum of two different ‘O’ Level examination results.

BUK releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME Admission Form

For the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Post-UTME 2023, an aptitude test will be conducted for candidates who applied for admissions in the 2023/2024 UTME. Candidates are encouraged to obtain the BUK Post-UTME past Questions and Answers to adequately prepare for this exercise.

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • UTME candidates must have chosen Bayero University as their First Choice and scored not less than the minimum score indicated for various Faculties/Programmes.

The Cut-Off Points for different Faculties/Programmes are specified as:

  1. Clinical Sciences (MBBS) and Dentistry: 240 and above
  2. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences (B. Nursing), Allied Health Sciences (B. Medical Laboratory Science): 230 and above
  3. Various other programmes with specific cut-off points ranging from 220 to 180, depending on the Faculty/Programme.

Application Process:

  1. Log in to the Bayero University website (www.buk.edu.ng) and click on “2023 UTME ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE.”
  2. Complete the Profile Update using UTME Registration Number as username and UTME aggregate score as password. Ensure the uploaded photograph from JAMB serves as the valid ID.
  3. Generate and download the Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI) containing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the screening cost of N2,000. Payment options include online methods or payment at any Commercial Bank nationwide. After successful payment, candidates can generate and print their acknowledgement slip.

Registration Deadlines:

  • Online registration begins on Monday, 20th November, 2023, and closes on Sunday, 7th January, 2024. Printing of the acknowledgement slip continues until midnight on Sunday, 14th January, 2024.
  • Date, Venue, and Time of the BUK Aptitude Test will be communicated to candidates via the phone number and/or e-mail address provided during JAMB registration.

It’s crucial to note that blind and foreign candidates are exempted from the aptitude test but need to complete the online registration. Candidates experiencing difficulties should contact the provided email on the portal for assistance.

Failure to register within the stipulated date will result in non-consideration for the screening exercise.
