About The Scholarship:
The Erasmus MC Graduate Scholarship is generously funded by the Erasmus MC Graduate School, specifically targeting international students aspiring to study in the Netherlands. This scholarship is aimed at candidates from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to enroll in one of the following research master programs at Erasmus MC/Erasmus University Rotterdam:

Application Deadline: The deadline for the Erasmus MC Graduate Scholarship 2024 Program is April 15, 2024.
Scholarship Benefits: The Erasmus MC Graduate Scholarship for 2024 amounts to €15,000, covering living costs and including a waiver of the non-EEA institutional fee. The grant will be disbursed in monthly installments, with the first month’s payment being €2,350 and subsequent monthly payments amounting to €1,150. The scholarship duration is one year and will be renewed for a second year upon successful completion of the first year.
Eligibility Requirements: Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have applied or been admitted to one of the Erasmus MC research master programs.
- Must demonstrate good academic performance and possess the motivation to pursue the program.
- Must be a high-achieving student according to Erasmus MC standards.
- Must be unable to finance their study independently.
- Must not have obtained a diploma from an educational institution in the Netherlands.
- Must have never been enrolled as a full-degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands. Scholarship holders will be required to reside in the Netherlands during the scholarship period.
Required Documents: Applicants are requested to submit the following documents:
- A letter of motivation
- Curriculum vitae (CV) along with grades list
- Budget plan

The application process for the Erasmus MC Graduate Scholarship is as follows:

- Firstly, apply for admission to the research master’s program at Erasmus University.
- Then, apply for the scholarship by sending a single PDF containing a letter of motivation, a CV with a grades list, and a budget plan to internationaloffice@erasmusmc.nl.
- Ensure the file is named as follows: <Student number, Last Name, First Name (name of research master).pdf>.
- The budget plan should provide an overview of all (expected) income and expenses.
- Successful applicants will be notified via email by the end of May.
