Chicago State University releases Tinubu’s academic records

Chicago State University (CSU) has complied with a subpoena, releasing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s school records to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in response to a federal judge’s order in the United States. The order required the university to provide records related to Tinubu’s enrollment in the late 1970s.

Atiku has accused Tinubu of presenting false academic credentials, and in the court documents, he contests the authenticity of the documents indicating that Tinubu graduated from Chicago State in 1979. Atiku argues that this discrepancy should lead to the nullification of Tinubu’s election victory.
