    What is IJMB Programme?
    Interim Joint Matriculation Board(IJMB)

    The Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) is a requirement for admission to universities in Nigeria and abroad. The Advanced Level subjects for Direct Entry into 200 level in Universities are the main focus of the IJMB examination.

    Is 2022 IJMB form out?

    The IJMB form for the 2022 academic session is no longer available for sale, closed on the 15th September 2022.

     

    IJMB Cutoff Mark: What Is It?

    A student must have 5 points or more to be eligible for admission. Students who want to study engineering must have at least 8 points, medical students must have at least 13, and all other courses must have at least 7 points.

     

    IJMB: Do I need JAMB?

    Candidates for the IJMB do not have to register for JAMB. IJMB scores are good for seven years. With IJMB, university admission is much simpler.

     

    Is IJMB exam hard?

    IJMB is just as challenging as your WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB exams. However, even the average student can succeed in the IJMB program and earn excellent grades. Academic rigor and a commitment to learning are the only requirements for the student. The IJMB program is just one level above the regular level exams.

    What are the IJMB requirements?

    Admission does not require a PUTME or JAMB score. Candidate who is awaiting results may also apply. Admission without screening is automatic.

    How do I apply for admission to IJMB?

    Candidates are expected to have their O’level results in order to be accepted for the IJMB. This may be accomplished through the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), which is administered by the National Examinations Council or the West African Examination Council (WAEC) (NECO).

    Can I study medicine using IJMB?

    Here are a few of the colleges and universities that accept IJMB for medical degrees. If you use DE instead of the UTME, you will graduate with a degree in medicine and surgery in 5 years as opposed to 6 years.

     

    IJMB is accepted by Unilag?

    Some of the well-known universities in Nigeria that do not accept the IJMB for admission include UNILAG and OAU. However, JUPEB is accepted by several universities, including OAU, UNILAG, and others.

    How are IJMB exams graded?

    A student can earn up to 16 points in the IJMB examination with the right combination of subjects and courses; an additional point is awarded if the result does not include a grade of “F.” The grades for IJMB results range from A to F.

    What is the IJMB cutoff score for Unilorin?

    IJMB Cut Off Mark for UNILORIN: The University of Ilorin, UNILORIN’s general cutoff point is 5, except for some courses that require 8 points, 10 points, or 13 points or higher.
