JAMB Extends 2024 DE Registration By 2 Weeks; The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced an extension of the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) registration period by two weeks. The registration, which began on February 28, 2024, was initially scheduled to end on March 28, 2024.

However, after considering the challenges faced by candidates during the registration process, the Board has decided to extend it until April 11, 2024.

This extension was deemed necessary due to difficulties encountered by candidates in meeting certain security screening requirements aimed at curbing the prevalence of fake A-level certificates among DE candidates. The Board apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures candidates that efforts will be made to make the registration process more user-friendly in the future.

Despite the extension, the Board remains steadfast in its commitment to preventing candidates with fraudulently acquired certificates from benefiting from them. Candidates whose certificates have not been verified by their issuing institutions will not be allowed to register until the necessary verification is completed.
