NWAG Scholarship for Nigerian Female Students 2024
Scholarship Details:
- Eligibility: Open to Nigerian female undergraduates, except those in their final year, enrolled in Nigerian universities.
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
- State of Origin: Proof of state of origin is required.
Documentation Requirements:
Applicants need to provide:
- A letter confirming state of origin from either the university or local government.
- Two recommendation letters from any of these: Pastor/Imam, Village Head, Local Government Chairperson, University Lecturer, or Department Head.
- One recommendation letter from the Dean of Faculty or Department Head.
- A photocopy of the university student ID.
- A recent photograph of the applicant.
- A brief statement detailing the need for the scholarship and the applicant’s deserving qualities (up to half a page, typed).
- A two-page, double-spaced essay on “The alarming exodus of professionals from Nigeria: causes, solutions to stem the tide, and its impact on Nigeria’s educational system.”

- Download and fill out the application form.
- Attach all necessary documents as outlined above.
- Email the complete application to education@nwag.org.
