Wilson and Yinka Badejo Foundation 2024 Educational Assistance Programme; The Wilson and Yinka Badejo Foundation Educational Assistance Programme annually awards scholarships to indigent students committed to completing their higher education. Since 2008, over 500 scholarships have been granted to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Scholarship Overview:
The 2024 Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship provides N70,000 to each selected student to aid their academic journey in Nigerian universities, colleges, or polytechnics.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants for the Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship must:
- Have proven financial need, evidenced by a personal statement describing their background.
- Exhibit academic excellence and verifiable good character.
- Be enrolled or accepted in a public tertiary institution (students in private institutions are ineligible).
- Not have received the foundation’s scholarship more than twice.
- Note: Applicants can apply for both Legacy and Nurturing Hearts scholarships but can only be awarded one.
Documentation Required:
- Completed application form.
- Academic transcripts.
- JAMB admission letter (for 100-level students).
- Letter of recommendation.
- Essay.
Scholarship Process:
- Application opens: March 15th.
- Application deadline: April 30th.
- Screening and selection: May 1st – June 14th.
- Notification and interviews: June 17th – July 12th.
- Final awardee list to Board: July 19th.
- Awardees recognized and scholarships awarded in August during the Annual Lecture.
