UNILAG Post-UTME 2023/2024: Online Test Instructions and Mock Examination Details; As the scheduled 2023/2024 University of Lagos (UNILAG) Post-UTME Aptitude Test approaches, it is crucial for all candidates to be well-informed about the online examination process.

General Instructions for the Online Aptitude Test

  1. Conduct Yourself Professionally: The UNILAG Post-UTME Aptitude Test is a competitive qualifying examination, and candidates are expected to comport themselves accordingly. It is essential to maintain professionalism throughout the test.
  2. Internet Connection: Candidates must ensure they have a reliable internet connection before attempting the online aptitude test. A stable internet connection will prevent disruptions during the examination.
  3. Webcam and Microphone Requirements: Candidates are required to have a webcam and microphone-enabled device to participate in the test. The use of mobile phones for the aptitude test is not supported.
  4. Webcam Visibility: Candidates are strictly prohibited from covering their webcams during the test. Failure to maintain visibility may lead to disqualification.
  5. Stay in Position: During the aptitude test, candidates are not allowed to leave their positions. Adequate preparation before the test is crucial to avoid any distractions or interruptions.
  6. No Switching Tabs: Candidates are not permitted to leave the test tab for other applications on their computer during the examination. Doing so may result in disqualification.
  7. No External Assistance: Candidates should be alone during the test, and no family members or anyone else should be present around them. Any violation of this rule may lead to disqualification.
  8. Test Duration: The aptitude test will last for 30 minutes. The countdown starts as soon as candidates click the start button, and it continues even if they log out before the time lapses.
  9. Avoid Reading Questions Aloud: Reading the questions aloud during the test is not allowed and may result in disqualification.
  10. No Face Masks or Caps: Wearing face masks or caps during the examination is strictly prohibited.

Directions to Take the Examination

To participate in the UNILAG Post-UTME Aptitude Test, candidates need to follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Install the Examination Browser

  • Each candidate will receive a unique email containing links to install the examination browser.
  • The installation needs to be done only once.

Step 2: Download Unique Examination Configuration

  • Click the provided link to download your unique examination configuration file.

Step 3: Launch the Examination

  • Open the configuration file to launch the examination.
  • Click “enter” to start the test.

Mock Examination Schedule

To help candidates become familiar with the examination platform and avoid technical issues during the actual test, UNILAG has scheduled a Mock Examination from Monday, 24th to Saturday, 29th July 2023. All candidates are strongly advised to participate in this Mock Examination and perform the following tasks:

a) Install the Examination Browser on their chosen device (laptop or desktop computer).
b) Take the Mock Examination using the same device they intend to use for the actual Post-UTME examination.

Candidates who fail, refuse, or neglect to take advantage of this opportunity may encounter challenges during the actual test and do so at their own risk.

  • The examination browser is only available for Windows OS. MAC OS is not supported.
