Instructions for Accessing UNILORIN’s New Portal for Returning Students:
Please note: The migration process is ongoing, and students’ records will be updated progressively.
Step 1: Accessing the Portal:
- Open your web browser and visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng
- Use your matriculation number as the username.
- The initial password is your matriculation number in capital letters (e.g., 67/55EC089), which you’ll be prompted to change during your first login.
Step 2: Changing Your Password:
- Upon initial login, change your password for security purposes.
- Create a strong password comprising a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Step 3: Exploring the Portal Features:
- Familiarize yourself with the portal’s main features, including: a) Fees and Receipts: Facilitates payment of current session school fees and access to current and subsequent receipts. b) Course Management: Allows course selection as advised by your level advisor, submission of selected courses for approval, viewing of approved course registration, and printing of course registration forms. c) Timetable Management: Provides access to your course/lecture timetable. d) Transactions Validation: Validates payments via Bank transfer, Bank branch, and USSD. e) Announcement: Displays management announcements. f) Hostel Accommodations: Enables hostel accommodation booking, payment, and confirmation of bed space. g) Learning Management Portal: Engage in online learning activities with instructors, download learning resources, take self-assessments, quizzes, and other learning activities.
