UNILORIN Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Forms; The University of Ilorin extends an invitation to all prospective candidates who have chosen the institution as their first choice for admission in the 2023/2024 Academic Session through UTME or Direct Entry.

UPDATE: The Management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) wishes to inform the general public especially prospective candidates that the 2023/2024 academic session Post-UTME Registration Deadline has been extended to Sunday, December 10th, 2023.

UNILORIN Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Forms

Prior to proceeding, it is crucial to carefully review the following instructions:

  1. UNILORIN Post-UTME/DE 2023 details including cut-off marks, eligibility criteria, and registration specifics are available.
  2. Any incorrect entries during the process will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate.
  3. Admission considerations will be based on a combination of UTME/DE score (50%), Post-UTME screening score (30%), and five relevant O’ Level grades (20%). As part of preparation, candidates are encouraged to access UNILORIN Post-UTME past questions by clicking here.

A. Registration Instructions – It is advisable to print this page before commencing registration:

  • Registration period spans from November 23rd to December 3rd, 2023.
  • Candidates are required to upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results (if applicable) on the JAMB CAPS. Those awaiting results must indicate this by writing ‘AR’.
  • Ensure possession of a personal, valid, and active email address and phone number (NOT from a Cybercafé) before initiating the registration.
  • Payment of a Registration fee of N2,000.00 is mandatory (refer to B.vi. below).
  • Thoroughly review all entries for accuracy before final submission.
  • Correction of errors in entries is permissible before submission while the registration process is ongoing.
  • Candidates should print their screening document and verify that all entered information is displayed correctly. If discrepancies exist, candidates are advised to re-enter their information.

Note: Upon completion of registration, candidates must ensure that the O’ Level result uploaded on the University portal matches the one uploaded to JAMB CAPS.

B. Step-by-step Registration Procedure:

i. Log in using the official link: https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/login OR https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng Post-UTME Registration. Avoid using any other link.

ii. Access the Post-UTME Registration page and click on “Verify your details.”

iii. Fill in the required fields (e.g. JAMB Registration Number, Surname, etc.).

iv. Click the verify button for UTME/DE information.

v. Proceed to the Remita platform for payment (payment can be made via card, transfer, USSD, bank, or QR code).

vi. After payment, confirm it using your JAMB registration number.

vii. Verify your payment status under the payment RRR number. Upon successful confirmation, resend an activation code if necessary.

viii. Retrieve the activation code sent to your email.

ix. Activate your account using the received code. Check your email for account login details.

x. Once activated, visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/login

xi. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number and password.

xii. Access the ‘My Application’ section and complete all necessary details.

xiii. Submit the application after ensuring all information is accurately provided.

Direct Entry (DE) candidates:

i. Follow the registration procedures outlined in B, (i – xii) above.

ii. Additionally, DE candidates must select their highest academic qualification from the drop-down under ‘Qualification’ during the application process.

Candidates must input their results with utmost care as any errors will be considered deliberate falsification and could result in automatic disqualification upon discovery at any stage.
