FULOKOJA Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Forms; This serves as a formal communication to all candidates who participated in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) application process through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for admission into Federal University Lokoja (FUL) for the upcoming 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Update: Post-UTME Portal Is Reopened

This is to inform all UTME and DE applicants who applied through JAMB for admission into Federal University Lokoja (FUL) for the 2023/2024 Academic Session and either selected FUL as their 1st Choice or are willing to change their institution to make FUL their first choice, that the 2023 Post-UTME Registration Portal has now been re-opened for interested candidates who are yet to participate in the 2023 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. The closing date for the registration is midnight, Saturday, December 9, 2023.

FULOKOJA Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Forms

This information is relevant for those who have already chosen FUL as their first choice institution or intend to change their selection to prioritize FUL as their primary choice. The initiation of the Post-UTME Registration Portal is set for Friday, August 18, 2023.

Eligibility for Screening:

In order to be eligible for the screening process, UTME applicants must have attained a minimum score of 170 (except for specific programs where the minimum scores are set at 250 for Medicine & Surgery, 220 for Nursing Science, and 200 for Engineering Programs) in the 2023 UTME. On the other hand, DE applicants should have completed their application through JAMB.

However, it is important to note that UTME applicants who have chosen programs as mentioned above but did not meet the required scores are advised to consider changing to other relevant programs before proceeding to register for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Only candidates with UTME scores that fulfill the specified requirements for their chosen programs will be permitted to participate in the CBT.

Computer-Based Test (CBT):

Both UTME and DE applicants are required to undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT) Screening Exercise. The screening event will be hosted at the Centre for ICT, located at the Federal University Lokoja’s Permanent Site, Felele Campus in Lokoja, Kogi State.

Candidates will be categorized into batches and provided with specific schedules for their tests. Participants are expected to strictly adhere to the designated date and time mentioned on their screening slip. Additionally, candidates should arrive at the venue at least two (2) hours before their stipulated time.

Online Registration Process:

Candidates are requested to adhere to the subsequent steps while completing their registration online:

  1. Personal Email Address: Before initiating the registration process, applicants must possess a valid personal email address.
  2. Visit the University Website: Navigate to fulokoja.edu.ng.
  3. Login: Click on Admissions -> Undergraduate -> Post-UTME Portal. Log in using your valid 2023 JAMB Registration number to confirm eligibility.

a) Biodata Page: Click on Biodata to update personal information and examination records. DE applicants should also update their prior academic records.

b) Payment Page: Generate a ₦2,000.00 (Post-UTME Screening Charges) RRR [Remita Retrieval Reference] payment invoice using REMITA services (card or bank payment). Complete your payment by clicking the Pay Now button.

c) Eligibility Page: Proceed to the Post-UTME Eligibility page and choose your preferred program from the provided list. Ensure that your UTME Score, UTME, and O’level subjects meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen program. Upload a new O’level Examination (NECO/NABTEB) Scratch Card for verification. Follow specific steps for WAEC result verification.

d) CBT Schedule Page: Select the five O’level subjects you intend to be examined in. Click submit to receive your CBT screening date and time. Print your screening slip, taking note of the CBT screening date and time.

Eligibility Criteria:

i. Candidates should possess a minimum of five (5) O’ level credits relevant to their desired course of study, attained in no more than two (2) sittings. For Medicine and Nursing Science, at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO in the relevant subjects, achieved in a single sitting, are mandatory. A credit in English Language is essential for admission into all courses at FUL. Refer to the University website for detailed O’level, UTME, and DE requirements for courses offered at FUL.

ii. Only candidates with uploaded O’level results on their JAMB e-Facility profiles are eligible for the CBT screening exercise. Such uploads can only be accomplished at JAMB Office or accredited JAMB CBT centers.

iii. Only applicants who selected FUL as their first choice and successfully participated in the CBT Screening Exercise will be considered for admission.

iv. Successful completion of the screening exercise does not automatically guarantee admission into FUL. The University’s Central Admissions Committee will apply various admission modalities to consider applications.

v. Any form of discrepancy, misinformation, or withholding of required information detected in your application will result in automatic disqualification, and fees paid will not be refunded.

vi. Applicants are expected to strictly adhere to the instructions provided.

The deadline for online registration for the Post-UTME CBT Screening Exercise is set for midnight on Friday, September 22, 2023.
