JAMB Enables CAPS For 2023/2024 Admission Exercise

Upon receiving an admission offer notification through JAMB CAPS, candidates are faced with a decision: either accept or decline the offer.

Educational institutions have already initiated the procedure of uploading their Admission Lists onto the JAMB Portal. In light of this, it is strongly recommended that candidates vigilantly track their admission status on JAMB CAPS to ensure they take appropriate action in a timely manner.

It is worth noting that certain institutions may not publicize their list of admitted candidates on their individual portals or physical notice boards. For candidates who have applied for admission at such institutions, the sole method to ascertain their admission status is by checking the JAMB CAPS portal.

How To Check Your Admission via JAMB Caps

  1. Go to the website: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/EfacilityLogin and log in using your registered email address and password to access your personal dashboard.
  2. Click on the ‘Check Admission Status’ option.
  3. Select ‘Access my CAPS.’
  4. Click on ‘Admission Status’ to determine whether you have received an admission offer.
  5. Successful admission recipients will witness their Photo Image displayed, accompanied by a congratulatory message on their admission offer. Conversely, those who have not yet received admission will receive a response stating, “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
  6. If you have been granted admission, you can proceed to either ACCEPT or REJECT the offer.
  7. It is recommended that successfully admitted candidates promptly indicate their decision of acceptance or rejection online, facilitating the subsequent stages of the admission process.

Furthermore, it is imperative to recognize that candidates who have secured admission should print out their admission letters post-acceptance.

These letters are likely to be necessary during the subsequent clearance and registration procedures at the admitting institution.

Please take note: If you are using a mobile device, the option to check your Admission Status on CAPS might not be readily visible. Often, mobile users may only encounter the welcome message. To fully access the page, it is advisable to enable desktop mode.

For this purpose, using the Chrome browser is suggested. By selecting the Chrome menu and opting for the “Request Desktop Site” feature, the complete page will be displayed for your convenience.
