UNILAG releases 2023/2024 admission into proficiency certificate in European language
This program is tailored for individuals with a keen interest in advancing their studies in French, Russian, German, and Spanish.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
- Successful candidates have the option to progress to the Foundation Programme, which serves as a pathway to a 200 Level Bachelor of Arts Degree in French, Russian, German, and Spanish.
- Alternatively, candidates may choose to sit for the UTME (University Tertiary Matriculation Examinations) upon completing the Programme. To qualify for the Foundation/Degree programs, candidates must have credits in at least 5 relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting.
MODE: Fulltime (Non-Residential Day Course)
PROGRAMME DURATION/PERIOD: One Full Academic Session, running from October 16, 2023, to July 31, 2024.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for admission into this program, candidates are required to have the following qualifications:
- O/L credits in Mathematics.
- O/L credits in English Language.
- O/L credits in two Arts subjects.
- O/L credits in one other subject, all obtained in not more than one sitting.
APPLICATION FEE AND METHOD OF APPLICATION:
To apply, please follow these steps:
- Visit the HRDC portal at http://hrdc.unilag.edu.ng.
- Click on “Prospective Students.”
- Select “Fresh Application” to fill in the necessary details.
- Click “Continue,” print the payment advice, and proceed to any commercial bank to make a payment of N15,000 (Fifteen thousand naira).
IMPORTANT EXAMINATION DETAILS:
A selection examination will be conducted in English Language and Mathematics for all applicants on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Room 402 B, Faculty of Arts Building, University of Lagos, Akoka. Examination results will be released on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
